MUIC Executives Meet Students Online to Discuss Term 3 Matters

The Mahidol University International College (MUIC) Executive Team, led by Assoc. Prof.Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., College Dean, met with students at the “Talk Today, Talk to theDean Live Session” event on April 15, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 2:40 pm via online platform (CISCO Webex Meetings). There were 297 students who attended the online event.

The Student Association, after gathering questions and surveys from students, forwarded them to the Dean and her team. Feedback from the students and the results of the survey showed that the students were concerned primarily with reductions in the university fee and tuition fee as a result of all courses being conducted online in Term 3. In response, the Dean and her team explained the College’s current financial situation but reassured them that she will negotiate

the said fees with the Mahidol University executives. Both sides had a lively discussion as the Dean addressed the students’ concerns and assured them of proper and prompt action.

Afterwards, the various divisions each held a live session talk at 2:50 pm-3:50 pm to provide more information about the online courses and address specific concerns of the students.
