MUIC Gives Recognition to Foreign Language Ambassador Scholarship Recipients

The Humanities and Language Division’s (HLD) Foreign Language Program gave recognition to scholars under the Foreign Language Ambassador Scholarship Program on November 8, 2019 at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building.

The 1 million Baht grant given by Mahidol University International College (MUIC) through the Student Affairs Office enabled 26 deserving students to participate in the Summer Program Abroad this year and experience an authentic language immersion program in China, France, Germany, Japan and Spain.

Representing MUIC and the Foreign Language Program, the students engaged in various activities in the institutions abroad, attending language and culture classes, interacting with local people and visiting important cultural events and attractions.

They have also produced a video project to reflect on their experience of studying and exploring the local culture. Those multimedia projects were screened during the FL Ambassadors Certificate Award Ceremony. Scholarship recipients were presented with certificates.

Attending the event were Dr. Chayanant Hongfa, Assistant Dean for Students Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Analiza Perez-Amurao, HLD Chair; Dr. Prateep Wongwerayuth, HLD Vice Chair; Mrs. Agnieszka Atthasit, FL Program Director; Mrs. Puvisa Quijuan, FL Program Coordinator; HLD lecturers, and HLD secretaries.
