MUIC Students Organize Mini-MUN Conference

The Model United Nations (MUN) committee and AIESEC student club recently co-organized a Mini-MUN Conference at Mahidol University International College (MUIC).

The conference, with the theme “Promoting Women’s Access to Education and Economic Opportunity,” was aptly held on March 8, International Women’s Day. It was aimed at exposing and training students for MUN and had 20 participants from MUIC and from Mahidol University International Demonstration School.

To prepare the participants for the conference, the organizers held a two-day workshop on February 26-27, 2019 which featured two lecturers, Dr. Natanaree Posrithong of the Social Science Division who lectured on the topic of “Exploring Gender Discrimination,” and Dr. Anjana Warren of the Humanities and Language Division whose topic was “Empowered Women, Empowered Generations.”
