Nature Lovers Club Launches “#BeingGreen Challenge” in MUIC

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Nature Lovers Club launched “#BeingGreen21 Days Challenge,” an online activity from February 4 to 24, 2019 that aims to raise awareness among MUIC’s freshmen about the overwhelming amount of plastic waste produced every day.

The club reported that this activity has helped motivate participants and others to adopt a “greener” lifestyle with a set of simple hashtags that the club has come up with to help everyone reduce single use plastic in their everyday life.

By setting a good example through social media, the club said that it “hopes to demonstrate that ‘being green’ is not as hard as everyone thinks.”
