*** ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Program
The AIMS Program is an exchange program between higher education institutions among the ASEAN member states. The program is operated and supported by the Government of Thailand through the Office of Higher Education Commission. Each year, around 8 students are selected to received the individual financial support to participate in the AIMS Program in the amount of THB 140,000 in lump sum which is intended to cover the student’s return air ticket, visa fee, health insurance and living expenses abroad.

***ASEAN University Network- ASEAN Credit Transfer System (AUN-ACTS)
The AUN-ACTS Program encourages students to experience studying abroad in participating universities of the ASEAN University Network (AUN). The selected students will be granted financial support in the amount of THB 140,000.

ASEM-DUO Fellowship Program (DUO-Thailand)
DUO-Thailand Fellowship Programme aims to enhance a balanced mobility of students between Thailand and 30 ASEM member-states in Europe by supporting paired-based and two-way exchanges. In this respect, the program requires that a PAIR (two persons) of students be exchanged in the framework of cooperative project/cooperation between higher education institutions in Thailand and in 30 ASEM member-states in Europe.

BSwiss International Business Summer School (July 2020)

FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland

The BSwiss International Business Summer School in Basel (Switzerland) is a two-week programme open to Swiss and international bachelor’s students. During two exciting and challenging weeks participants attend courses, visit companies, discover local culture and establish networks with people from Switzerland and around the world.

Application

The programme is open to international and Swiss Bachelor students. Participants must have a minimum of two semesters of business studies and need to be fluent in English (advanced level: European levels B2 written/C1 oral). A letter of motivation, an updated CV and a transcript showing the most recent grades are required

Fees

  • Tuition: CHF 950 (waived for 3-5 MUIC students)***
  • Visits and cultural events: CHF 400
  • Accommodation (if needed): CHF 600

Not included: transport to Basel, health insurance, visa costs, meals, additional individual sightseeing trips and personal expenses.

Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED)
The SEED program provides students, from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), with short-term exchange opportunities for study or research in Canadian post-secondary institutions at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels. The scholarship value varies depending on the duration and level of study. The scholarship value for students is:

  • CAD 10,200 for college, undergraduate or graduate students (Master’s and PhD) for a minimum of four months or one academic term of study or research;
  • CAD 15,900 for undergraduate and college students for a period of eight months or two academic terms of study or research.

Ernst Mach Grant at the Austrian University of Applied Science (Fachhochschule)
This program benefits students from non-European universities who wish to spend a semester or two at the Austrian University of Applied Sciences (‘Fachhochschule’). The selected applicant will be offered a monthly grant rate EUR 1,050.

English Taught Programmes and Courses

At the School of Business FHNW you will find a wide variety of English speaking courses from all the different programmes.

NOTE: all courses and timetables are subject to changes without notice.

Exchange students may choose from a pool of courses from our different programmes and campuses. However, when choosing courses from different campuses, please bear in mind the distance between them and watch out for inconsistencies and clashes when preparing your schedule so you do not have two classes at the same time.

Young Ambassador Scholarships for MUIC Students
MUIC offers 50 Young Ambassador Scholarships every year, each in the amount up to THB 50,000. MUIC students applying to be an exchange student are automatically eligible and will be included in the Young Ambassador Scholarship selection process.
