THM Student Qualifies for Final Round in World Tourism Forum Lucerne in Switzerland

Ms. Naruemon Suphab from the Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Division of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) has been selected to be amongst the 12 candidates who will attend the World Tourism Forum Lucerne to be held in Lucerne, Switzerland on May 1-5, 2019.

Ms. Naruemon, with her research topic, “Virtual Reality Videos for Destination Marketing Organisations: Lessons from Japan and Australia” has been selected to join the World Tourism Forum Lucerne Young Talent Programme after passing the three rounds of a rigid selection process.

Amongst the submitted abstracts of over 70 applications, 40 students of the 28 partner universities had been eligible to submit a full paper for a double blinded peer-reviewed process. Out of these 40 candidates, 20 students were asked to take a Learning Agility Test by Korn Ferry. Twelve candidates were selected to attend the World Tourism Forum Lucerne where the final three winners of the Young Talent Programme will be assessed by a small jury after the individual presentation in a dedicated session.
