The Volunteer Club held an activity that gave its participants the opportunity to voice out their concerns and be heard by their peers.

Called “About U” and held via online community app Gather.town, the online participants were divided into speakers and listeners. Speakers shared their personal stories while listeners, after hearing them out, offered advice. There were three topics, namely studies, love, and everything else on Earth.

Representing a space of trust, the information about all participants remained anonymous and confidential throughout the whole session. A total of 55 participants, consisting of 23 listeners and 32 speakers, joined the activity which was held on November 4, 11 and 18, 2021.

“About U” allowed students to relieve their stress and learn how to be a better listener.
