MUIC will take you to find the answer!

  • UX (User Experience)

UX refers to the experience when a user interacts with products, systems, or services, which also includes when they are exploring websites online. The focus of user experience can be divided into different angles, such as the difficulty from usage or solution to the users’ pain points.

For those whose works related to UX such as UX designer or UX developer, their work scope leans towards the handling of research, coding designs, beta testing the prototypes, and also periodically conducting an evaluation to ensure the best user experience on their design.

  • UI (User Interface)

UI refers to the design over the aesthetics of user interfaces and the designed method of usage on applications or other digital products. The focus of the user interface is to maximize the usability for intended users.

  • For UI designers,

the design process includes referencing their design principles and research done on real-world user behaviors by UX teams to determine the most appropriate features and functions for their intended users. Matters such as how to make the interface appear as appealing and comfortable to use as possible while still maintaining the image of the brand are something UI designers handle as well.
