Learning Scuba Diving Theories

The Diving Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) conducted two classes on diving theories on June 15 and 22, 2023 at Room 1315, MUIC Building 1.

The guest speaker was Mr. Jirat (Kame) Kiratiratanakulchai, a professional scuba diving instructor from Just Dive Thailand.

These diving theories expanded the 25 students’ understanding of dive physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory, and dive planning. The guest speaker discussed diving theories that every scuba divers should know in order to prepare them for scuba diving in the ocean in the future. He also shared a real-life situation that he experienced during one of his dives in order to emphasize the lessons. Aside from these, the guest speaker also taught them how to become good divers by learning all the fundamental manners that scuba divers should show to their dive buddies, marine life, and underwater environment.
