MUIC Holds Orientation for 218 Exchange and Visiting Students

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) welcomed 218 inbound exchange and visiting students who enrolled in Trimester 1, AY 2023-24 and gave them an orientation on MUIC policies along with useful tips on living in Thailand on September 6-7, 2023 at the Auditorium, MUIC Building 1.

The foreign students hailed from different countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, and USA.

Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, gave the welcome speech and provided general information on how to stay safe and healthy while studying in Thailand.

Asst. Prof. Dale Konstanz, Associate Dean for International Affairs, MUIC lecturers and staff members gave presentations that would be useful for the international students including MUIC’s academic policies and student services along with a crash course on Thai language and culture.

Afterwards, the students were brought to Siam Amazing Park in Bangkok, an iconic destination, where they had an enjoyable time.

The Student Exchange Unit organized the event.
