Students Plant Mangrove Seedlings in “MUIC Go Green!” Event

Students and staff of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) had an opportunity to help Mother Nature on May 21, 2023 when they planted mangrove trees in Samut Songkram province on May 21, 2023.

Organized by the Office of Student Affairs’ Student Development Unit, the environmentally friendly activity dubbed "MUIC Go Green!" found 38 students and five staff members at the Khlong Khon Mangrove Forest Conservation Center where they attended a lecture on mangrove ecosystem, joined a viewing trip aboard a boat, did some shellfish collecting and participated in mangrove planting.
