A group of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) students won a regional award in the Startup Thailand League Pitching Stage 2021 held on July 10 – 11, 2021.

Gophi Team composed of Ms. Sopanant Datta (enrolled in the Food Science and Technology major), Ms. Siriyakorn Chudhakorn (Biological Sciences major) and Ms. Saruda Bhumapanich (International Business major) won the regional-round award and was, consequently, selected to participate in the national-round competition in the upcoming Demo Day.

Two other teams of students from MUIC presented their work. They are as follows:

Greenery Buddy Team composed of Ms. Thiptakran Sukhicharoenkul (Marketing major), Ms. Peem Viryasiri (International Hospitality Management major), Ms. Titaporn Sangthien (Marketing major), Ms. Parimapart Jinjutapart (International Business major), Mr. Teerapat Chalemkiat (Marketing major); and

Orange Rocket Team composed of Mr. Thanawin Teerasangjun (Computer Science major) and Mr. Pitipat Gumphusiri (Computer Science major).

Each of the three teams was rewarded with 25,000 Baht by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) to encourage and support youth in start-up entrepreneurship. Over 400 teams participated in the regional round.
